United Methodist Men
CURRENTLY ARE UM MEN ARE NOT MEETING DUE TO THE PANDEMIC !
What do a bunch of Methodist Men do when they get together the 2nd Sunday of each month (September through May) in the "Hut?" You guessed it - - - EAT. And we don't settle for a lite continental breakfast. It is the full works for us. Items such as:
Scrambled Eggs
Fried Eggs
Bacon
Home Made Sausage Patties
Smoke Sausage
Fried Tenderloin
Sausage Gravy
Biscuits
Cantaloupe (in season)
Tomatoes (in season)
Coffee
Orange Juice
Grape Juice
Good food is a plus, but a time of worship and fellowship is even more important. After breakfast, time is spent on morning devotions.
Getting involved is what we are about. United Methodist Men have supported:
- ARC of Davidson County
- Cancer Services of the Carolinas
- Naaman's Recovery Village
- Thomasville Rescue Squad
- Wounded Warrior Project
- United Way of Davidson County
Our group also participates in various other projects.
The last 8 years, Ebenezer men have hosted a rest stop for participants in the Saddles and Spokes bike ride, benefiting the Hoof and Pay Therapeutic Riding & Activity Center.
See, it is a whole lot more than food. Fellowship and personal growth are emphasized as we meet to fulfill Christ's will.
So please come and join us the 2nd Sunday. We would love for you to come. But more importantly, we would love to fellowship with you.
